Weekly Update 24 March 2021

MyVigor Security Update

Recently the MyVigor server has been upgraded to a new system architecture which includes security enhancements. As a result, new firmware will be required for DrayTek devices to take advantage of the new security enhancements.

New firmware has been made available from 23 March on the DrayTek downloads web page: https://www.draytek.com/support/latest-firmwares/

The new firmware will be available on the Australian web site with the next few days.

MyVigor customers will receive an email from DrayTek informing them of the activation link and to upgrade router firmware to the latest version. The email will look similar to the image below:

Before clicking on the link to update the MyVigor account ensure that all the devices registered to MyVigor have the latest firmware installed since the firmware updates need to be completed within 2 days of updating the MyVigor account.
The activation link will be valid for 60 days.
Note: this link is for single use only.
This process must be completed before 22 May 2021 otherwise WCF and DrayDDNS services may not work as expected.
If you are not using MyVigor services, you will not need to update the firmware, however the updated firmware may include bug fixes and additional features.

If you encounter any issues with the MyVigor, contact us at support@draytek.com.au and include the following information:

1.       The problem description

2.       The device's model name and the firmware version

3.       The device's LAN MAC and the MyVigor account details
